Dance moves for collectors edition - Guild Wars Forums

I have Prophecies and Factions regular edition. I've seen characters dance with light trails from their hands and those Assassins who dance with shadow duplicates of themselves from a spotlight. I preordered Nightfall collectors edition.

Assuming the collectors Nightfall will also have special dance emotes: will installing it onto my account make all my characters have the special dance emote from Nightfall? Or just Nightfall characters? Or any new character from any expansion created after the installation of Nightfall?

I'm not sure if anyone would have the answer. But did anyone get regular Prophecies, install collectors Factions, then made a new Prophecies character and tried the new dance emote?

Factions backup dancers are only for rits and sins. There has been no word about an ingame emote bonus for Nightfall yet. If Nightfall does have one, it'll either be for everyone or just primary Paragons/Dervishes.

Okay, that seems to make sense since I've only seen Assassins with back up dancers. Haven't seen or noticed any Ritualists with those though.

But I've seen regular professions with the light trails from their hands. Looks prettiest with the female Elementalist dancers I think. I assume that's from the regular GW Prophecies collectors edition

Yeah, that's the Divine Aura from the Prophecies CE. All characters you make from any campaign will always have Divine Aura(if you have the Prophecies CE).

Ya, if you play the game like I do (about 4-6 or more hours a day) you kind of appreciate dance moves...

I was looking at the Night Fall Collector's Edition and it didn't denote a collector's dance that was included. Here's what's with it:

Collector's Edition includes:
* Behind the Scene's "Making of" DVD
* 124 Page Color Nightfall Art Book
* Collector's Edition Exclusive Nightfall Poster
* Collector's Edition Exclusive Nightfall Soundtrack CD
* Collector's Edition Exclusive Nightfall Map
* Collector's Edition Exclusive Nightfall 2 Game Skill Pins in Velvet Bag
* Collector's Edition Exclusive Nightfall Mini-Character standee

Normally, when they released the glowing hands, or auras they denote the dancing in the what's included as they did with Factions Collector's Edition:

* The Guild Wars: Factions Collector's Edition contains:
- Guild Wars Factions Game
- Guild Wars Factions Premium Art Book (Concept and In Game Art)
- Guild Wars Factions Desk Calendar
- Guild Wars Factions Mouse Matt
- Guild Wars Factions ???Cantha??? Poster
- Guild Wars Factions Sticker Set
- Guild Wars Factions Sound Track CD from Jeremy Soule
- TWO additional character slots ??? when added to existing Guild Wars accounts

Customers with a CE access key on their account will be able to trigger special dances for Ritualist and Assassin characters. These will be augmented versions of the standard dance, with special effects, and when the dance begins several backup dancers will appear behind the character to augment his dance moves with custom backup dances. For the Ritualist, these will be dancing spirits, similar to the spirits that he summons on the battlefield. For the Assassin, these will be shadowy assassins who do "ninja-style" moves synchronized with the character's dance.

It would be nice to continue this for the Nightfall Collector's edition as I already preordered two, and really think it adds a cool feature to the game (especially when you're just standing around waiting for guildies to come, etc).
